She pointed to US company Onboard Informatics which is making house valuations more accurate by tapping data on property proximity to transport links, repairs and surface area. Westpac is also working with Hyper Anna, a local start-up that has developed an AI-based virtual data scientist to interrogate corporate information systems, in which its venture capital fund Reinventure Group has invested. Chelsea Wise, head of forward deployed data science at Hyper Anna, told the Microsoft event the technology can provide analysis of sales data in close to real time, which it would take a human 20 hours to produce.
